Don't flush these!

There have been several avoidable and expensive incidents of blocked sewer lines caused by the use of so-called “flushable” wipes.
This is a reminder that the following items are strictly prohibited from being flushed down the toilets or washed down the sinks.

  • Cooking Grease/Food
  • Baby wipes/cleansing wipes (even though some of these brands might say they are flushable on the box, there is no such thing as a “flushable” wipe)
  • Cotton swabs, pads, balls
  • Disinfectant/Cleaning Wipes
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Paper Towel/Napkins
  • Pet Litter
  • Tissues/Kleenex

Please dispose of the above items in the garbage.

If your unit experiences a blocked sewer line, and it is determined that any of these items contributed to the issue, you may be charged the full cost of repair and remediation which can run into the thousands of dollars.
